At Southern Paws, Peep is treated with care and kindness. She is an older kitty that is loved. She would say she is the Top Cat at the Dickerson home. She feels so much better after her visit to the Vet medical center. Thank you so much!

When Chuck ran the place you knew he cared about you and your pets. The new owners are terrible. After more than 25 years of being able to know each of my pets were safe and in good hands I am now using palmetto animal hospital. Great people and care.

We have been bringing our dog here for years and couldn't be happier with the care she receives. She suffers from anxiety-related aggression, and the staff always handle her with compassion, patience, and expertise. The technicians are knowledgeable and friendly, and the new veterinarians, Dr. Mary and her husband, are outstanding. We are very grateful for the excellent care they provide.

The entire staff showed so much care and compassion to my baby Eden when she ended up with an obstruction. Dr Mary performed emergency surgery and saved her life. I can't thank you enough Dr Mary, Austin, Lyndsi, Inga, Slade, and the entire staff! You all went above and beyond, and it is truly appreciated.

I have been a customer of Westside for over 10 years. The Hewitts and Dr. Anderson were great. When the Hewitts retired I still remained because Dr. Anderson was an amazing vet. I couldn’t have asked for better care and service. Upon Dr. Anderson’s retirement I continued to stay. The service wasn’t the same but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Until the last 10 days, when I needed my dog to be seen. I was told they had no openings for days and also told if I needed my dog seen, I would need to go somewhere else. Not they would work me in, just go somewhere else. This is unacceptable and I’m not sure if the owners or current vets know this is happening but this needs to be addressed. The last few times I’ve been in that office, there was hardly anyone in there. Their busy and what used to be their busy aren’t the same. It might be due to the customer service that is being provided. As for my dog, she was seen the very next day at Hartsville Animal Hospital, a location I had never stepped foot in. She was given excellent care and on the mend now.
